I have an older Rusnok full size vertical head. Uses #7 B&S end mill holders and collets. Was used on a 16" G&E shaper to cut keyways in an old maintenance shop where I worked because we did not have a vertical mill. Has been on my shelf for 10 yrs. Don't remember the HP but do remember that it is 575 VAC.
The collet draw bar shown above, the indexing head, and the vertical head use 3SB/3C collets. The 3SB collets and 3C collets are the same size - so no problem there. For any vertical milling that this machine can not do, I'll use my Rusnok milling machine.

If that guy had advertised it as "Rusnok milling head", he probably (I don't know what you paid) could have gotten 2 to 4 times more for just the head without the "drill press looking" stand.. The seller was a professional machinist, so he knew what it was & advertised it as being good to add to a small horizontal mill.

Rusnok Tool Works was established in 1938 by John Rusnok and Edward R. Rusnok. Based on the sparse information we can find, it appears that their early products were milling heads, tool holders, and other machine accessories. By the late 1940s they were producing precision milling machines for small-scale work such as model making and watch making.
I believe the Rusnok vertical milling head on the larger Sheldon mill uses "Y" type tool holders. I am not certain but this is what I find when searching for info on that milling head. Finding these may prove difficult. I think ours dates from the 1940's but Rusnok may still be making these.
The Rusnok head is not the model 70. He said was the heavier one. The Tag said model ST. Was a 3 phase motor for the head but the VFD converted the 110. My big concern, I did not take a dial indicator. The head is bolted to a pipe with a flangethat is welded together.
Re: New Rusnok model 80 mill head question. Contact them and request a quote. I know the entire milling machine is around $4k or so, but I don't know what only the head costs. The machines are currently built to order. EM are more responsive to a phone call, but feel free to email them as well.

I have a Kearney & Trecker #2CE Horzontal mill that came with a small vertical head as an option. It was only 1/3 HP with #2MT spindle. Not enough HP to do any serious milling. I took it off, built a mounting adapter and installed a Lagun 3 HP vertical head on it. The only problem was it was a real pain to change back and forth.
Rusnock concentrated, originally, on vertical milling attachments (their 1944 catalog ran to 16 pages) and designs for the first complete Rusnok miller, the Model 70, were not submitted by Edward Rusnok to the U.S. Patent office until 1951 (and granted in 1955).
I just bought a smaller horizontal mill with a add on vertical head. It's a Rusnok head, Model 70 . Belt drive, 5 speeds. 380,700, 1200, 2500, and 5200 rpm. It has a quill with an 1 1/2 inch travel and a 1/2 inch collet with a 3/8 split bushing in it. ( so I could use 1/2 or 3/8 cutters without any extra work).
That mill does have a round column vertical adjustment of the head, plus the quill vertical motion. Without an X-Y table it is not very useful. The original was reasonably OK. I managed to machine the stainless steel rods for my Mikado on that mill. Pic attached. Attached is also a picture of the mill, long replaced by a Bridgeport clone. RussN
