Tig Weld Porous and Gray (Mild Steel)

Tig Weld Porous and Gray (Mild Steel) I'm basically brand new to TIG, less than an hour under the hood. I picked up a lower end Inverter tig welder (Primeweld TIG 200D) and have been trying to lay down a consistent 1G plate weld. I am running 1/16th inch tungsten at 20 CFH ( Argon ofc) and using some er70s-2 mild steel filler rods.

Grinding Mill - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics

18.9.3 Grinding Mill Control in Closed Circuit. The principle objective for controlling grinding mill operation is to produce a product having an acceptable and constant size distribution at optimum cost. To achieve this objective an attempt is made to stabilize the operation by principally controlling the process variables.

Waterjet Cutting: The Ultimate Guide | MachineMfg

The cutting accuracy of water cutting is between 0.1 mm and 0.25 mm. The cutting accuracy depends on the accuracy of the machine, the size range of the cutting workpiece and the thickness and material of the cutting workpiece. Generally, the positioning accuracy of the machine system is 0.01 mm to 0.03 mm.

Cylindrical grinding aluminum

Cylindrical grinding aluminum. I've been asked at work the feasibility of cnc cylindrical grinding some aluminum parts. Material is either 6061 or 7075 likely T6 temper (I was not given more details than that). The parts are about 113" long and the OD is a little over 5". The entire OD needs to be ground to 5.XXX" +/- .001".

The OD of the internal part is 8.75 inches. From I've seen, standard UN threads only go up to 4 inches maximum. We need a thread with a nominal size of 8.75 inches, and a relatively fine pitch, say 16 threads per inch or more (I'm not really sure what's a reasonable value for such a large diameter). My question is twofold: 1.
